I have a brilliant idea on how to counter Russia and China. We could focus on building up our partners in Asia and the ongoing conventional fucking war in Europe instead of a pointless war in South America.

Someone make me a senior fellow. This shit's easy as hell.
Cracks me up how you could just replace Venezuela and Venezuelans with Iraq and Iraqis and it’d be indistinguishable from something written in 2002

The thing that gets me about the likely climate-change driven systems collapse of the Late Bronze Age civilizations was that, for decades preceeding, the writing was literally on the wall. In Liner B and in Hieroglyphs.
Reservoirs that feed Athens and the wider Attica region now hold roughly half the volume they did in 2022. On Aegina, which depends on that system, farmers say the warning lights are flashing. Click here to watch the video and read the article👇 #water

Sorry. Confused. Are we back to "President and AG can't be on the same tarmac" rules or are we still on "AG can give a lapdance to President at the Sept 2025 US Open" rules?

I wear a mask simply because I'm following the data on repeat infections and trying to limit those. I've also known too many people with long or medium covid to want to fuck around. Even if I knew I was going to recover fully why would i volunteer to lose months to this illness?

Something any survivor of abuse can tell you is that one of the most painful parts of surviving abuse is the isolation that follows. Abusers are seldom abandoned, but victims are.
"Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein" is a phrase that first appeared in newspapers in March 2011 and appeared regularly from that point onward. it is INCONCEIVABLE to me that this many people were still associating with him!!

The term of art for this in a bankruptcy court is "fraudulent conveyance". Stealing money that isn't yours and then transferring it to a third party to defraud creditors is also a crime. It doesn't eliminate the possibility for judgment on the first charge.
