Corporate welfare is out of control.

One example - Drax produces electricity by burning trees, most expensive electricity, UK's biggest single polluter.

In 2024, Drax had £1.06bn operating profit, paid £100m dividend, £300m in share buyback.

Received billions in subsidies for decades. Why?

Spot on. That's why it was so disgusting and cynical of the Leave campaigns in the UK to use the symbols and evocations of WWII in their campaigning.
The EU was created in by people who lived through WWII and saw political and economic integration as a means to bringing peace and stability to the continent.

It is being opposed by Putin, Musk and the others who support Neo Nazis in Europe.

Yes Donnie. Your grandfather left Germany to avoid military service. Another thing which turns out to be unexpectedly genetic.

My wife Bunty & I had the privilege of visiting Nigel Farage in his campaign office during the last election.
He was so lovely & allowed Bunters to take a photo of him (shown below).
There was absolutely no hint of him exceeding electoral expenses & being involved in fraud.

For decades, Labour had to defend the so called Winter of Discontent in 1979.
It is not unreasonable for Badenoch to explain the 14 year shit show that ended only 18 months ago.
Sky News: You just said you don't want to leave any 'stone unturned'. Those words were used by Sajid Javid in 2018 when he ordered what you are calling for. Are you saying you failed and did leave 'stones unturned' when you were in government?

In late November, Secretary of State Marco Rubio sent instructions to US diplomats, directing them to sell Trump’s immigration policies to allies who don’t want them. In a barely reported move, Rubio instructed diplomats in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada to start “raising concerns” about...

Perhaps Donald Trump should sign an executive order declaring June 14 (his birthday) to be National Racial Animus Day.
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks.

They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

I’m disgusted that some senior DWP people have learned nothing about the scale of the misery their policies inflicted.

It’s high time the DWP showed some respect to carers and some awareness of their own gross errors.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Farage is a nasty piece of work.
This is quite unhinged, not least because Farage keeps calling them his “alleged” remarks when he’s already admitted that he said them (including earlier in this press conference)
