Trump’s response to our economic struggles are the same as GOP President Herbert Hoover at the outset of the Great Depression. He claimed everything was great, claimed Americans just lacked morale and then implemented new tariffs. That all led to economic calamity.

Thinking of that time when my dad, himself a doctor, was thrown by a horse on a trail ride. Punctured his spleen, internal bleeding, got him to an ER just in time. He lived another 20 years. With two hours delay, probably wouldn't have.

In addition to the irresponsible use of language the POTUS sounds like a weirdo rambling about dementia screening cognitive tests.
Calling the press “fake news” is harmful. Calling them “seditious, perhaps even treasonous” for publishing reporting is something else entirely. Treason is a capital crime. Suggesting journalists should face it for exercising their First Amendment rights and doing their jobs is dangerous.
