In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.
Disabled son of ICE detainee dies after 30 days of hospitalization
It had been months since Wael Tarabishi seen his father. The family is calling on ICE to release Maher Tarabishi so he may attend his son's funeral.

This is an ongoing developing story

It's not the third world war, yet. It is not world war 2 part 3, that is a fucking bad joke that I've kept because the war has been going on since someone had the brilliant idea of "I'll kill you and ...

stating the facts shouldn’t be hard guys
At least four videos show what really happened when ICE shot a woman in Minneapolis on Wednesday. DHS has established itself as an agency that cannot be trusted to live in or present reality. @evystadium.bsky.social has more.

After decades of repression, Venezuelans deserve a prompt transition to a rights-respecting democracy, led by Venezuelans, where their freedoms and right to participate in free and fair elections are respected.

Read HRW’s statement on US strikes on Venezuela:
US Strikes Venezuela, Says it Will ‘Run’ Country
On the night of January 2, the US military conducted strikes on Venezuela, and took into custody the country’s president, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores.

Before John Carmack fucks up, the "Ultimate Abstraction" or (Final Abstraction according to @johncarmack.bsky.social ) is basically his ideal for @johnromero.bsky.social , to perpetually respawn in a simulation or as I coined, a Mixed Media Reality. Be it war, torture or love.

Today you are thinking most likely what I do: what the fuck did we just do? I did a fuckton of the forcd data pcssing & I doubt that Merge Labs are the only players. We both know that Google has does and they are getting everything by the end of next year. The Denpa Effect saved you this time ;(
It has been amazing to watch the progress of the Codex team; they are beasts.

The product/model is already so good and will get much better; I believe they will create the best and most important product in the space, and enable so much downstream work.

I don't know if you're the original Sam Altman or a cloned Digital Entity, but this is your lucky day Sam, nobody is literally adding you to tell you: I have agreed that ultrasound was the way since forever. Also, cute that you hide yourself behind a waifu persona and call it ghilbi

Since his appointment, RFK Jr. has pursued a brutal vision of American health that several experts liken to a sort of eugenics. Kennedy has made it clear that certain deaths are acceptable or even preferable to a world where every child is vaccinated.

A source told me about this. He was a Lyft driver like I used to be: it's called "the robot wars".
How much worse can it get?
Way mo’!
Around half of San Francisco is without power right now and something like 1/3rd of intersections I drove through had waymos stopped in the middle of them making a dangerous situation even worse.

Do not let Waymo into your city.
