How long are we going to hear about “legitimate debates and concerns about immigration?” It’s time we told the truth and deal with it. Net migration is low, we need more migrants, we are an ageing population. Highly skilled and low paid jobs are dependent on migrants. We need safe and legal routes.

I am so interested to see how the same press that lost its collective mind over a tan suit, eating ice cream, falling off a bike, the way a woman laughed, and other meaningless bullshit protects him, and normalizes this despicable, racist, disqualifying behavior that would end any other presidency.

personally my rule is: i’m not going to feel guilty for having enjoyed something made by an arsehole (a term that could be anywhere on the bully-to-rapist continuum), but once i know they’re an arsehole i find it very hard to enjoy it again and don’t bother with their new work.
