I saw a clip of an old sitcom with a canned laugh track. That’s what generative AI feels like. Taking something vital & organic and making it hollow & mechanical. Here’s hoping AI’s fate will be the same as laugh tracks. A mocked relic of a time people accepted soulless absurdity for true emotion
