I’m a simple guy, I go see a movie called “The Secret Agent” and I want to see a gosh dang Secret Agent. Sure there’s capybaras and a pastiche of 70s New Hollywood, an obsession with Jaws, a killer leg, and a cat with two faces, it might be one of the best movies of the year. But zero Secret Agents!

As soon as the song came on the car radio I knew the real killer would be Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat.

My current musical obsession is NFL team fight songs. The hokier and goofier the better. Really love the impossibly lame Steelers “Here We Go”.
But some are actual pops. The banjo in the Dolphins theme. The groovy San Diego Super Chargers - absolute proof that team never should have moved.

Perhaps it is simply my ambivalence towards Hamlet: the Play as an object, but man, Hamnet: the Movie did not work for me. I figured the play would be merely a detail in this story, not the culmination of several people’s lives /deaths in such a simple neat redemption.
