Inscryption had a lot that stood out to me, but what surprised me the most was finding this card a few months after my pet mantis, named God, died.

The last time I got interviewed for a full-time job, I inexplicably decided it made sense to use JavaScript with type annotations when doing an important exercise for a TypeScript role. It didn't dawn on me how wrong this was until I was far enough for the sunk cost fallacy to take over.
