This was inevitable. As Mike correctly points out, plenty of people (including me) said this the day the law came into effect. 100% of the easily accessible porn sites in the UK don't follow UK law around explicit content.
A new report from a UK child protection org sounds the alarm. The Online Safety Act's verification mandate has been pushing Britons to unregulated sites with CSAM.

Half of the UK is now going to unregulated sites where CSAM, revenge porn and stolen content thrive.

Who could have predicted?
Nearly half of porn users admit to being on adult sites with no age checks, says survey
Lucy Faithfull Foundation warns those who don’t want to share their identity are more likely to see child abuse images

So many in media are ill-equipped to interview officials about what’s happening because they begin with the presumption of legitimacy and don’t know enough about history or U.S. foreign policy to foment intelligent pushback and hold officials accountable.

Two things, firstly the government is looking increasingly stupid. Second, would the media have grilled a conservative government the same way? Why do they not press Nigel Farage for a response to this? Often tipped as the next PM, ask Farage how he would respond, had he been in no.10.

It's not hypothetical - Trump is saying very loudly repeatedly what he's done and boasting about it.

And yet the UK Government won't even say it's a breach of international rules. Shameful.

7/10 Removing Maduro beheads the autocracy but doesn’t dismantle it. The coercive apparatus—and its ties to organized crime—doesn’t evaporate. The risk ranges from just a coup to even "warlordism." It remains unclear who will rule in a fractured, armed landscape.
