Same. Frankly, I can’t imagine any situation where using an LLM to generate text would not make writing the book take ten times as long.
In case it doesn't go without saying: I have not used gen AI to create text in any of my books. I have not used Grammarly etc to "clean up" the text. I have not used it to research any of my books, except where it might be built into search engines under the hood (I do not use labelled AI results).

Today, America First Legal (AFL) filed a federal civil rights complaint against Penguin Random House, LLC (PRH) with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), calling for an investigation into apparent race- and sex-based discrimination in its hiring, promotion, and workforce development practices. Despite claiming to support equal opportunity, PRH has seemingly embedded “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) ideology throughout its employment practices, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Penguin Random House — the world’s largest trade publisher — openly prioritizes race and sex in recruitment, leadership development, and promotion. The company is “guided by five core pillars that shape [its] DEI efforts across the business.” PRH publicly tracks and publishes workforce demographics, compares “White versus BIPOC” representation, sets race-focused hiring goals, and holds leadership accountable for achieving DEI outcomes. With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

Good to know I can just avoid anything made by Larian now. Having trouble choosing a new game? Have too many options? Just start looking at which companies are pushing A.I. bullshit, cut them out of the equation and suddenly you'll find the true gems you were looking for.
Standing up for the jobs of concept artists--a job that was already wildly underappreciated and hellish to get into *before* this AI shit--is a battle worth picking, you braying jackass

Do we start getting rid of white kids because they keep shooting up schools? How about releasing the Epstein files and then denaturalizing, and deporting any of the pedophiles on it? How about we attack rape culture next and start denaturalizing and deporting sexual assault offenders?
