I truly have to believe this (and I do! like, I think it is absolutely true). But I need to remember and hold it inside my heart these days.
As ever... the vast, vast majority of people don't want the hellscape the right is forcing on us. they really are the minority viewpoint. vocal? yes. powerful? unfortunately, yes. But there are so many more people who don't want to live in the world they're trying to make.

Whenever the world is a dumpster fire, I take an edible and listen to @heytherejeffro.bsky.social lose his mind on “Tom and Jeff Watch Batman” about how bad the animated “Hush” is. Like 200 episodes later and it’s still a foundational episode. Worth every penny.

I think this is my issue…the marketing is misguided. The 2% of the target audience that lives online and is LOUDLY WRONG shouldn’t be catered to.
Regular folk have watched the last couple movies, recognizes the new characters and is just gonna be confused as to why the old guys are the focus.
