However, tipping off notorious serial pedophiles about other reporters is absolutely fine.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

Watching Mamdani's victory speech, I'm struck by his—and his campaign's—unabashed vision of the US as an immigrant society, a culture built from the ground up from diversity. It is a complete rejection and reversal of the search for a white-washed homogeneity that the political right projects.

California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50.

California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections.

Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.

This is a five-alarm fire. Utah is working on a 1,200-bed, remote detention camp for people who can't afford rent. This includes hundreds of locked beds, forced medication, & the potential for forced labor.
BREAKING: Inspired by Trump, Utah moves forward with plan to force homeless people into detention camps.

Her “Meal in a Bag” is meant to provide ppl with a complete meal that is $8 or less, is shelf stable, & can be made without access to a full kitchen. I love this as a direct aid option. Good for neighbors & elders who can’t/wont go to a pantry.

Something I loved about today's #NoKings march: 10K people in downtown #SantaCruz on foot. At Abbott Square, the lunch spots were completely backed up w/ orders. Lulu Carpenter's cafe was sold out of pastries, & the good-natured staff were clearly having one of their busiest days ever.

#NoKings march in Santa Cruz, California.

#Joyful crowd of at least 10,000:
Babies, toddlers, big kids
Doggos
Costumes included unicorns, pandas, giraffes
Bagpipes, ukuleles, drums

Police did a great job of respectfully keeping everyone (and their 1st Amendment rights) safe.
