Hey @amazonofficial.bsky.social ? I appreciate the delivery photo, but I'd appreciate more if this was where I lived. Also checked the other buildings on my block, none have that carpet outside their entryways.

On the one hand, I feel like Saint Maximilian Kolbe would be shocked, given the N*zis killed him in Auschwitz. On the other hand, as someone who is blocked by the Order that has the copyright on the Divine Mercy Chaplet over on FB, b/c they <3 Trump more than Christ, not shocked.

Ashlee Rezin at the Chicago Sun-Times deserves a Pulitzer for this photo, sums up perfectly an administration screaming Christian persecution, even as they literally beat and pepper spray Christian clergy while hiding behind masks.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The right-wing backlash against #Superman has happened before.

Here’s my @vanityfair.com report w/ the full history —starting with April 1940, when the official SS newspaper attacked the comic book hero & its creators.

Plus, that time Superman fought the KKK…

This is fascism—there are no checks & balances if legislators are arrested for questioning a member of the executive branch.

I struggle to understand how to best operate in this reality. I'm making incredible progress in my state, but uprooting this kind of evil feels beyond the scope of my office.
Sitting US Senator Alex Padilla forcibly wrestled to the ground and arrested by the FBI for attempting to ask a question of DHS secretary Kristin Noem.

- Criticized JD Vance's views on Catholicism and Jesus
- Posted an article opposing Trump's immigration policies
- Retweeted twice about the Pope's health
- Retweeted a criticism of Trump & Bukele's laughter at KAG.

I found my university mascot's Facebook profile and whomever is doing the photos with kids is really bad about blurs. To the extent my first thought seeing it with these blurry children was, "this would make a great analog horror series..." anyhow, off to suggest it I guess.

Me: I'm going to make taco salad for dinner, I have leftover taco meat and Mexican 4 cheese blend.
Mom: What was it called?
Me: Mexican Four Cheese.
Mom: Mexican Orgies?! Who would name something that!
