Oversight Democrats are not backing down.

If Les Wexner claims he doesn’t remember, then he needs to turn over his financial records and let the money tell the story.

Survivors deserve justice. It’s time for the cover-up to end.

Trump says he’s “very proud” of his economy.

He’s proud of everyday Americans losing their jobs while money keeps flowing into his and his billionaire donors’ pockets.
Companies that have announced recent layoffs:

- Citi: 20,000 jobs
- Amazon: 16,000 jobs

A year ago, I stood before you and asked a provocative question:

After we have discriminated against, disparaged, and deported all our immigrant neighbors — and the problems we started with remained.

What comes next?

Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate🧧

The last Year of the Fire Horse began in '66 & saw anti-war protests & civil rights struggle. It was the year Rev. Jackson left seminary to join Dr. King’s Freedom Movement.

May 2026 bring New York the same bold change people deserve.

“I Am Somebody” is a poem written by Rev. William Holmes Borders, Sr. He was the Senior Pastor at Wheat Street Baptist Church in Atlanta. Reverend Jesse Jackson recited the poem often.

“I am somebody” shaped how millions of us saw ourselves as kids, including me. That message mattered. It still does.

This is a censorship state.

Is censorship a conservative value? Is that why Republicans are silent about this?

No, of course not. They are just happy to let Trump try to rig our politics because they benefit.
NEWS: CBS blocked Stephen Colbert from airing an interview with Texas State Rep. James Talarico and ordered him not to mention the cancellation over fear of FCC chair Brendan Carr.

Colbert went on air and revealed it anyway.

The essence of the Big Lie
Ossoff: "Among today's false prophets are the election deniers who indulge this president's obsession with overturning the 2020 election. Hear me when I say this -- they tell a lie so absurd, and therefore so debasing, that the act of telling it proves the teller's total and humiliating submission."

Few national Democrats have pushed back as forcefully against Trump’s authoritarian crackdown.

There’s a reason for that.

In 1854, after watching the federal government deploy 2000 federal troops and spend $40,000 sending Anthony Burns back into slavery, Boston's Amos Adams Lawrence said “we went to bed one night old-fashioned, conservative, Compromise Union Whigs and waked up stark mad Abolitionists.”

Glad to see union leaders talking about a general strike. Mass strikes require planning, strike funds and mutual aid. (They will not happen through posting and spontaneous action.)
I spoke with SEIU’s David Huerta, who was arrested in an ICE raid last year and awaits trial.

He says it’s time to go “on offense.”

“Should we use a general strike as a tool? Absolutely. We should be prepared to use that tool because our democracy is worth it.”
