If you like what we do with initiatives like this supporting emerging creators, our community outreach, our platforming of socially conscious work, and our commitment to marginalised voices, please repost/spread the word about BF's work.

We're currently at about only half the followers we had on X.

I know Britain only sent one soldier to Greenland, but that soldier is basically Britain's answer to Chuck Norris.

Ok, here's the plan. We make up prizes. A lot of prizes, so many he can't keep up. If we end up giving him several prizes a day, each of which require him posing for the camera etc, maybe he won't have the time and headspace to invade anywhere.

The Life of Chuck, a Stephen King adaptation recently arrived on Netflix, is an exceptional film that should be watched knowing as little as possible. Expect to be puzzled for a while - but it will make sense, and expect to feel all the emotions along the way.

My holiday reading included a graphic novel about Neville Chamberlain, written by my friend @benjamindickson.bsky.social

Tragically, this very timely cautionary tale from history doesn't have a publisher yet. I wonder if anyone in my network can help fix that? 🙏🏻 benjamindickson.sumupstore.com

I've lost count of how many cons I've been to where fellow attendees ask me if I'm black.

Helen McCarthy @glider.bsky.social is such a great advocate of Japanese Animation. These days I find anime impossible to even keep up with, but in 1990 when nobody in the UK knew anything about anime, she was the one that spread the word.

All criminals use the toilet on a regular basis. Coincidence? I think not.
At last, we’ve got to (oh-ho!) the BOTTOM of what causes crime: Going to the toilet.

"You know that thing that countless thinkers and authors warned us over many decades not to do? Well,we were thinking it would be really cool if we did it..."
Saw this video of Tristan Harris on Diary of a CEO sharing what AI-tech bros have shared regarding their motivations pursuing this technology. It’s horrifying.

These tech ghouls have us all on a suicide mission because of their EGOS. 🫠

Real joke from Nazi Germany:

Hitler and Goering are at the top of a radio tower that's due to be opened. Hitler comments that he wants to bring Berliners a little more joy. Goering says "Well then why don't we both jump?"

The woman who told that joke was executed.

The writing of Santa Claus in the Land of the Soviets continues apace. I'm having a great time being back with these characters, and I'm giggling as I'm writing it - which is always a good sign.
