What I find inspiring about the romance genre isn't “wish fulfillment,” but the way the genre can model healing.
I love flawed, wounded characters who have to HEAL and grow in order to accept love. 🌹

I'm proud to be self-published! Self-publishing takes a lot of work. You have to wear a lot of hats and learn a lot of diverse skills.
It's a challenge, and it's not for the faint of heart! Definitely not something to look "down" on.

I really can't stand the strain of self-published authors who clearly hate being self-published and have zero respect for other self-published authors because they feel like they are too good to be a part of the community.
