Are other people here having trouble with Facebook? Getting kicked off and then asking for personal proof like birth certificates to get back on?

Environmental advocates rarely have holiday time in December. Still, I celebrate the calm & quiet of The Winter Solstice as much as I can.

This is horrible and should be top news!
Russia destroyed 100% of Odesa’s energy infrastructure. All substations were destroyed by missiles and drones.

The city has been completely left without electricity, hot water, and heating for over one million people, including all critical infrastructure.

Wtf? He really wants a big war, apparently. Not a “peace president,” for those who believed his lie and voted for him.

Hegseth & The First Felon have gone too far (many times, but this takes the cake!) STOP it. They are embarrassing the entire country with this unrestrained, bullying, loser behavior.

This is….something. Would have loved to have observed that meeting!
Reporter: Are you affirming that you think the president is a fascist?

Mamdani: I've spoken about --

Trump: Just say yes, it's easier than explaining.

More good news for democracy from New York City!
It’s not about who you know, it’s about what you do. City Hall will soon be known as a source of support for New Yorkers — and an example of what our best and brightest can achieve.

Yet, he must do more…

Hope. Yes, hope.
Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.
