Was going to just make kind of a joke about Dilbert guy but I realized I am actually pretty angry to see the “after a battle with cancer” language used for this guy who not only did not battle but instead wanted to dunk on everyone else who is really trying to survive or help others survive cancer
Some people with cancer really fight through the difficulty of the treatments and have to become advocates for themselves in a dysfunctional system. It’s exhausting. Mr Dilbert just got pissed about people telling him what to do, ate ivermectin to prove he was smarter than everyone, and then died

even aside from the casual racism this nitwit deploys, imagine how dumb you'd have to be to not understand why people might more readily protest a murder carried out by their government, for which their government is unrepentant, than than a murder by an individual.
Tricia McLaughlin on Renee Good: "I think if the individual was killed last week by an illegal alien, I don't think we would be seeing any protest."

when ICE asks you questions about your neighbors, you've never met your neighbors in your life. you've never even seen them from afar. neighbors? what neighbors?
ICE is targeting Hmong families in St. Paul as they go door to door looking for people to kidnap. they’re asking “do you have any Asian neighbors”

That night when Toad went to bed he thought the biggest thoughts that he could think.

Toad thought about giant sunflowers. He thought about tall oak trees. He thought about high mountains covered with snow.

It's worth reminding each other every couple days that every delay you create, every horrible opportunity you deter means someone gets home to their family, might even mean someones actual life is saved. All of it is worth it.

Check out the map of Lime trips utilizing the 28th Street separated bike lane.

A slightly different reality than opponents' contention it only serves Remington.

AOC: I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this. You get screwed over to pay a bunch of thugs in the street that are shooting mothers in the face.

he knocked a huge, brand new jug of laundry detergent off the top of my stacked washer/dryer to spill all over the kitchen.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

tomorrow i am visiting a gaming bar with one of my best friends and then picking up The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty at a local bookstore and then getting tacos and then getting laid. The Horrors may continue to exist but so do i.

Best TikTok thing going is the two dudes trying food from every country without leaving NYC. If you haven’t seen them yet, it’s incredible. My favorite so far is last week’s. Legit got me emotional.

Once I had a big fight with a young reporter who insisted the details of a shooting differed from my reporting which was based on videos of the incident. I illustrated how his reporting could not be true & he yelled back I’M A REAL REPORTER WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT SOURCES

anyway that was wes lowery
This is the current front page of the Times. The Washington Post is even worse. Their headlines are privileging the accounts of the administration with a track record of lying as being as valid as eye witness accounts and videos.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

im sorry i know it sucks but journalists are going to have to be willing to get fired for simply describing what they see happening with their own eyes, you look like fucking morons
"Was the officer struck by the vehicle, as President Trump insists, or did the car pass by or around him?"
If we only had some trusted institution that could adjudicate between competing claims by relying on facts.
