Double Arch is one of Arches National Park’s most unique formations, created by water erosion from above. Its tallest opening reaches 112 feet with a 144-foot span. Located in the Windows section, it’s an easy walk to one of the park’s most impressive arches.

It never occurred to me until I saw this post on IG, but 3 very iconic pop culture blondes all debuted in 1959 - Sleeping Beauty, Barbie, and Supergirl. This was at the peak of Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield’s fame, so it makes sense. (via @supercosplaylover)

Co-credited with the creation of the Harvard Classification Scheme that organizes/classifies stars by their temperature & spectral type. She classified >300,000 stars & her system is still used today.
