Look I respect and agree with the point this post is trying to make but I'm a senior engineer and I can tell you categorically that ai coding assistants do not work. They're garbage and *anything* you get out of them worthwhile is purely from experienced, competent developers modifying its output
the fucked up part of ai is that it's built by programmers, so all the ai programming tools are made to assist programmers, and work far better than you'd think
meanwhile, ai art tools are always about "replacing" artists instead since these ai people see dealing with artists as a waste of time

It was really cool getting to see the very first Amiga prototype they put together in 1984.
This was apparently the first time this prototype left the US to give us the opportunity to witness it at Amiga40 in Germany last weekend 🕹️❤️

Don't get me wrong, I used it before it was incredibly faux-pas in the demoscene because didn't have enough access to pixel artists & I use it day-to-day for the auto-complete on steroids, but unless there is UBI to compensate for AI job loss...

I think Apple have gone straight into form over function territory with Tahoe. Settings app is presumably taken it's corner radius inspiration from iPhone Air, but it's just horrific on desktop... 🤮

After seeing @logrus.uk's mad SFII skillz, I'd really like to see him try this out on the channel. Still a WIP, this demo should nonetheless contain all the moves and mechanics. To really get the most from it, you need to emulate a 2-button joypad and set it to 2-button mode.
