Ah, that explains it, because I'm not that interested in US politics.

Nice. I've been using Warp because of the whole cross platform thing and it supports Windows too (which I prefer to avoid, but can't on occasion).

It's all a dick-waving contest. None of them actually has billions in liquid assets they can spend, it's just theoretical money they can't really do anything with except avoid paying taxes: income from debt (take a loan from bank secured against billions of stock) doesn't attract income tax 🤬

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't really comment their 68k 😶 I'm trying to do better on that front, so that me in 6 months to a year can understand what the fuck I was thinking...🤣

Snap! Was also 8 when my Mum brought home a 2nd hand 48K rubber keyed Speccy. Played the games it came with for a while, then started typing in listings from magazines; had to figure out the bugs from either errors in my inputting or just plain bugs in the print and learned BASIC by osmosis! 😂

Working in Woolies when I was old enough (13 3/4) allowed me to convince my mum to lend me the price of an Amiga 500, my upgrade from 48k rubber key Speccy :) Was sad to see it go down the pan...

Ah, ok. C&A is still going strong here in Croatia. (Same branding, but Euro arm was separate to UK)

Woolworths is a thing again? I thought they shut down, or they had when I last lived in the UK, or did I imagine that?

The annoying this is it's 2025 and we still have to deal with browser differences... 😭 Even though a good portion of them are basically the same browser! 😂

Not sure, just tried it in Safari and it works fine. Bit more investigation and it seems like maybe the right-click mouse up event isn't firing properly. Right click will keep erasing pixels until you left click. That left click doesn't register as a left click but stops the erasing. 🤷♂️

It's a Chromium based browser.

I assume this is a Vivaldi idiosyncrasy: right click to erase seems to take about 2-3 seconds after releasing the button before it stops erasing pixels, which makes it quite tedious to correct mistakes. Nice work though.

please note, this could probably* be done so much better, but for a few hours of effort it does what I need :)

100% agree. The only useful output I've had from them that didn't require any tinkering were stupid little scripts to transform one data set into another, with extremely specific instructions and examples provided. Even then more than half they fucked up and I needed to correct them.

If they didn't do that they couldn't charge the advertisers for the reach; so seems like it's working exactly as designed...

I honestly couldn't figure out if this was:
a) a bad wax work of Noel Edmonds
b) a bad wax work of George Michael
c) a character from Team America
Could just be the unholy bastard child of all 3 perhaps 😂

For anyone that doesn't bother to read the article, types got switcheroo'd here and editing on BlueSky isn't a thing so:
VST3 went from dual-licensed GPLv3/Proprietary to MIT, ASIO has a new GPLv3 version. VST3 change is the bigger deal imo, no need for permission from Steinberg to release plugins!

Sure, I'm in agreement, but as a counter by my continued use I'm enabling him. I stopped using Spotify once Daniel Ek started investing in AI-weapons tech, that was the final nail. I'll probably stop installing Brave on my computers going forward. Don't know of any viable alternatives though :(
