Note that NONE of the Democrats who capitulated and voted "NO" (who compromised the health and safety of Americans as a compromise to end the government shut-down) are running for re-election.

They won't be around to feel the full impact of their choices.

Lawless, cruel, callous Immigration agents wantonly (and perhaps deliberately) create safety hazards for residents.

Imagine if a child had climbed into a running truck or piece of industrial equipment, or tried to use a nail gun?

The "alternate electors" scheme is the most brazen attempt at election #fraud in my lifetime, in addition to the Doug Logan et al infiltration of election equipment in Coffee County, GA, and Tina Peters' use of identity theft to steal #election data in Colorado and allow it to go out of state.

I’m so proud of my daughter in Seattle.

She doesn’t have much money (she’s a preschool teacher with a preschooler of her own) but she has a big bag of Costco flour — so she’s baking sourdough bread and cinnamon rolls every week for people in her neighborhood who are furloughed or lost SNAP…

The US withdrawal from WHO could impact the flu shot.

Flu samples sent to CDC from around the world are down 60% this year, as of July.

"When those viruses are not coming in, we don't know what to put in the vaccine, and you're going to have less effective vaccines."
Why next year's flu shot might not be as good as it should be
America's withdrawal from the World Health Organization is affecting the ability of U.S. scientists to track flu and other pathogens. That could be a blow to the development of the 2025 flu vaccine.

Trump continues to claim that white S. Africans are being discriminated against and slaughtered even though white South Africans own a higher proportion of wealth than black South Africans.

He says he won't be attending the #G20 summit.

This is one of the reasons we say, "A tree farm is not a forest..." It takes a few thousands years to build a forest and the process is endlessly fascinating.

Tree roots time their growth according to who their neighbors are, and the winners are not always who we expect.

On the shores of Trout Lake, a Catholic sister and Tribal president sat and made history.

The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, approached the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, part of the Ojibwe Nation, and asked if they wanted some land back.

Trump is claiming that Walmart's cheaper 2025 Thanksgiving dinner (which has fewer items) helps prove things are now more "affordable".

Yes, Trump..... STOP LYING!!!

Americans deserve better than a President who hides job numbers and inflation rates, and pretends Thanksgiving meals are cheaper.

It can live for incredibly long periods without any obvious sustenance.

Scientists are hoping to learn some of its secrets.

He walked at 9 months, almost as if he knew he wouldn’t have much time. His favorite thing to do was throw rocks into water. He loved the moon. He called butterflies “buddy buddies.” I miss him every day.

Human fetal tissue research has saved millions of lives and continues to drive biomedical innovation. Restricting it would not alter abortion rates, it would force scientists to discard an irreplaceable research resource for treating devastating diseases.
Restrictions on fetal tissue research would threaten progress on breakthrough treatments for devastating diseases — and yet not prevent a single abortion
The U.S. government may restrict funding for research that uses human fetal tissue. The move would undermine medical science and prolong patients' suffering from devastating diseases.
