Remember, folks: Bsky isn't Twitter, there is no algorithm. Posts don't get seen if they aren't reshared!

It should have cost $29,000 but it only cost $1000 is not the slam dunk this prick thinks it is. It should be free, and in many countries around the world it would be. His company is at best a bandaid on the utter blight that is America's for-profit healthcare system.
Mr Cuban,

I just wanted to quickly thank you. My husband has XXXX cancer, a rare gastrointestinal cancer. We are between insurance right now and when we went to pick it up we were informed it was $29,000. We were able to get it from CostPlus for $990. Thank you for saving my husband's life.

You know. Cutting ties with most my family and not celebrating Christmas has had the unintended side effect that I don't have to worry about someone in my family getting me something AI generated which is actually pretty nice!

Bringing this back 10 months later because… Twitter brought it back, 10 months later.

But I’m losing it at both people on twitter acting like this is all new and how I’ve, once again, been vindicated after numerous people were making fun of me, saying I was overreacting after it was removed.

It might hurt my bottom line, but I’m probably going to stop posting art to Twitter entirely and I suggest you do too.

Not only is the site actively putting a “Okay, now remix this” button below art (and elevating them above the OP with a QRT) and it’s false flagging original art as made by AI.

If you've still got a twitter account to be upset about this button with, congratulations you're a fucking problem!
Heads up to artists still using Twitter- Twitter is now adding an "Edit image" button under all images posted on the site that allows everyone to feed it into genAI and modify it as they wish with a prompt

i wonder if there's a name for the phenomenon where a setting accidentally adds real-world shit without thinking too hard about its implications. like how early pokemon had irl animals. or how pixar canonized the popemobile which canonizes catholicism, assassination attempts on popes, and jesus.

Quick heads-up: AltNPS are a bunch of grifters - they've been like this since pre-Elon Twitter.
People sometimes ask me what harm AltNPS is doing, and it's this. This right here.

AltNPS didn't do ANYTHING for this cause, and never even mentioned it before today. @protectparks.bsky.social is who made the difference (among others), but lots of people will now believe it was AltNPS.

You know how when they do a restoration of an old painting they slowly remove the old yellow varnish with solvent and then they reapply a new varnish and it looks so clear and detailed and amazing. I think I need that done to me
