Well, did China comply? Oh…
Putin can only continue his brutal war of aggression against Ukraine because he can rely on support from third parties, including China. We expect China to use its influence on Russia to ensure a lasting peace for Ukraine. @aussenminister.diplo.de

It is being opposed by Putin, Musk and the others who support Neo Nazis in Europe.

The challenge is clear: "the NSS is (...) a document worth taking seriously. The strategy signals that the Trump administration plans to orchestrate the downfall of almost all of Europe’s political leaders, which come from center-right and center-left parties."

Nordic and Baltic countries all* call for a reparations loan.

One notable thing: these are among the most pro-Atlanticist countries in the whole EU, and they are demanding the EU does something Washington has specifically warned againt.

(*not DK, because it holds the EU Council presidency)
The leaders of Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden call for a fast approval of the reparations loan for Ukraine, arguing it will put the country in a "stronger position" to negotiate a peace deal with Russia.

A brilliant, however deeply depressing read. Ignore at your own peril.
The joint American and Russian attack on Europe is ideological and if Europe is going to succeed in fighting back - rather than be reduced to an unhappy collection of vassal states - it needs to decide whether it is willing and able to defend its own liberal democratic ideals. My latest

The thousands of soldiers the US has stationed in Ramstein, Germany are (mostly) not here to protect us, but rather to project US power in the Middle East and Africa.
But NATO is no longer seen as a force-multiplier by this government. Allies are a nuisance and a liability.

Does Europe Finally Realize It’s Alone?

Europeans lulled themselves into the belief that #Trump is unpredictable and inconsistent but ultimately manageable.

This is strangely reassuring, but wrong.
