Two trucks in a UN convoy in South Ukraine, clearly marked as humanitarian, were targeted and destroyed by drones yesterday. Thankfully, no casualties. These attacks are utterly unacceptable and highlight the daily risks faced by aid workers. #notatarget #Ukraine

#Ukraine can count on our full support. Anyone who wants to defend Europe’s security and freedom must keep Ukraine at the heart of our efforts. 🇷🇴 plays a key role as a transit country to #Moldova and Ukraine. @aussenminister.diplo.de 4/4

Together, we are countering Russia’s hybrid threats – from the so-called #ShadowFleet that endangers people, the environment and infrastructure, to massive influence operations and #disinformation by Russian state actors. @aussenminister.diplo.de 3/4

The message to #Putin is clear: we will defend every inch of #NATO territory. Together, we are securing our #EasternFlank. Germany is contributing Eurofighters to help patrol 🇷🇴 airspace for the fourth time. @aussenminister.diplo.de 2/4

German and Romanian fighter jets recently took off together to intercept a Russian drone. This shows: within #NATO we stand in solidarity – and we do not tolerate violations of our member states’ sovereignty. @aussenminister.diplo.de in Bucharest 🇷🇴 1/4

The Western Balkans, #Ukraine, and #Moldova are part of our European family. It is crucial now that we accompany them on their path toward the EU. Because our greatest strength against Putin’s aggression is our freedom, openness, and democracy. @aussenminister.diplo.de 5/5

All of Europe must do more to strengthen its own energy security. This is our core interest: reliable energy in #Kyiv, #Sofia, and Berlin – without anyone taking away our freedom for it. @aussenminister.diplo.de 4/5

Ukraine is facing a hard winter of war. As the #EU, we must do everything we can to help Ukraine get through – and keep up the pressure on Moscow. Especially on energy, we must not let up. @aussenminister.diplo.de 3/5

We are increasingly feeling Russia’s hybrid threat all across Europe: drones over airports, sabotage in the Baltic Sea, airspace violations on NATO’s eastern flank. We are responding – calmly, but resolutely. @aussenminister.diplo.de in Sofia 🇧🇬 1/5

The #Panama Canal is one of the world’s most important trade routes. We are very grateful to Panama for consistently deflagging ships of the Russian #shadow fleet, thereby helping to cut off Russia's revenues that fund its war of aggression against Ukraine. @aussenminister.diplo.de 2/2

#Panama is an important partner in #CentralAmerica, both economically and politically. We share common interests and values & we want to further expand our good relations.

A two-state solution remains our goal. This will require further major efforts. We believe the UN should play a decisive role in this. The UN Security Council, in particular, can create a framework for the way forward. @aussenminister.diplo.de (3/3)

The Berlin Process is a catalyst for concrete initiatives. Because if we want these countries to become part of the EU, then this must happen in the foreseeable future. I am hopeful that we will have results soon. Belfast shows: Coming together is possible. @aussenminister.diplo.de (2/2)

In Belfast today we are talking with the Western Balkans about prospects for EU membership. There is great hope in these countries, this must not be an endless process without result. @aussenminister.diplo.de (1/2)

In the future, peace troops & a legal framework will be needed. Hamas must never pose any danger again. Today, I will discuss this with international partners in Paris. Of course, #Israel & #USA must be included in upcoming talks. @aussenminister.diplo.de (4/4)

The agreement shows: We live in a world in which mutual understanding is still possible. Humanitarian and medical aid must reach #Gaza as quick as possible now, the people there need a perspective for reconstruction & peace. The terrible suffering must end. @aussenminister.diplo.de (3/4)

All of this has been only possible thanks to the great commitment of President Trump. I also want to thank my counterparts, Sheikh Mohammed from Qatar, for his moderating role & 🇮🇱 Gidon Sa’ar, with whom I spoke on the phone this morning. @aussenminister.diplo.de (2/4)
