For Nananji, it's watching Reliq's walls and usual air of competency crumble. This can happen for two reasons:
-Reliq starts to fret that he's upset Nananji, wears the most pathetic expression, and flounders to make amends.
-A show of affection catches Reliq off guard and he just turns to putty.

Now that I think on it, his lack ok power and influence isn't entirely true.
He might not have martial prowess, but he is able to sway Reliq like very few can. That fact alone gives him a lot of leverage.
More than that, he's built connections that would gladly aid him if he just thought to ask.

As much as this tempts me to think up more date scenarios for them, Nananji does make it difficult.

With the way he's developing in my HC, he's proving to be the kind of Aro that dislikes big, performative gestures or outings. So, nearly any outing they go on needs to serve some purpose.
