Personally, I head canon that time in XIV flows in much the same as our irl time.
Each expansion is 1-2 years.
Each story patch takes days, weeks, or months depending on pacing.
As for the complexity, I think the only bit I get stuck on his how the altering flow of the First works.

i'm speaking of the time bubble where no one seemingly ages, time travel as it was introduced with alexander and then reintroduced in shadowbringer and then endwalker?

Because I like shorter races and I find Lalafells cute. If I'm going to play a game hundreds of hours long, I'd rather my character be something I'll always be happy to see.
Also, I know how to not limit Lalas to just being cute, since other short races like Halflings can be played straight.

Because I like shorter races and I find Lalafells cute. If I'm going to play a game hundreds of hours long, I'd rather my character be something I'll always be happy to see.
Also, I know how to not limit Lalas to just being cute, since other short races like Halflings can be played straight.

Reliq and Nananji's relationship was a a slow burn that required the building of trust. But it wasn't until after EW that Reliq felt safe enough to open himself up romantically again.
I'd like to think they'd latch on to each other regardless of when, but it'd depend on how they were introduced.

Ulen and Zezenori have been on a few dates over the last few months, and are officially together. One of Ulen's favorite things to do is to go out on picnics with Zezenori so they can be removed from distractions.
