One of the earliest screenshots I ever took in FFXIV, back when I didn't even know what GPosing was or how to do it. The screenshot is of my Lalafell, Reliq, flying on the Falcon mount in The Dravanian Forelands. He is also dressed in one of my earliest glamour outfits to make him look like he's running an air mail service. A screenshot of Reliq on his Island Sanctuary farm. Still not really sure how to use GPose at this point, I'm much more pleased with both the composition and outfit I used for this particular scene. A GPose screenshot I made of Reliq and Nanaji's date at the Panaqpelu Retreat. I'm still thrilled with how this turned out with how massive a leap this scene was to make, with how many pieces I had to add to this scene. The scene includes Reliq and Nananji holding food items, a table filled with various foodstuffs, and a Pelupelu server who is holding a tray with a bowl of soup balanced on it and holding another bowl in their other hand. A GPose screenshot of Nananji's visit to Tural. The screenshot features an intimate moment between Reliq and Nananji that has started to get a little spicy. Nananji is sitting in Reliq's lap and embracing him for a very passionate kiss. This was part of a set I took and shared but left this and a couple other shots out of what I shared since it was a little more personal than I wished to share. Even so, I'm very pleased with how this turned out since it was a real fight to place them together in such a way to hide or avoid any obvious clipping.

Honestly? He just accepted it but did not internalize it.
With how much was going on at the time, Reliq briefly considered if that knowledge changed much about who he was, decided it didn't, and filed it away as a problem for Future Reliq to have an existential panic attack over later.

Just got a wonderful Skeb commission back from Shelldy (skeb.jp/@Shelldy_h).
I love it so much; I just had to share it.
They perfectly captured one of my favorite story beats in my little guys' romance.

The illustration take place in the front entry of Reliq's library home. Reliq has just returned home from his time in Tural. Morbidly expecting that he'd return to a dark home and that Nananji had moved on, Reliq is caught unawares as his love bursts out of his home's front doors, tackles him, and sends the two of them careening into the fountain behind him. When Reliq next opens his eyes, Nananji is on top of him, tears streaming and a joyous smile on his face. A mixture of confusion and elation fill Reliq as he realizes that Nananji has been waiting for him, hoping that they might be reunited and fulfill the promise they made when Reliq left for the New World. Their feelings are so obvious as to be unmistakable; they swear their love for each other properly this time.

Naturally erudite and physically neutral; the AR-Caean Crafting Top, Classic Glasses, and Spriggan earring have been Reliq's "iconic" look for a few years now.
It's still one of my favorite crafting sets, but what cemented it was the number of Skeb comms I got back that chose to use that outfit.

He wasn't created with it in mind, but a core part of Reliq's own philosophy can be credited to Aristotle's "Golden Mean."

In his lore, I ascribe it to the belief system of an old, extremist sect of Nald'thal, but the symbology of weighing an internal struggle on two sides of a scale fits him well.

Absolutely. I'm always happy to "steal" various traits, interactions, and dynamics from other ships as fuel for my little guys.
They've helped me consider how Reliq and Nanji might thrive as a couple despite a considerable power gap.
Always just a fan of cozy and competent couples too.

All-in-all, I'm very pleased with this.
It took me the whole weekend and the random disconnects from the DDOSSing certainly didn't help.
Still, even with the inconsistent lighting, I think I was able to translate what I had in mind fairly well. (5/5)

Most of Reliq's homes are open to the public/multi-purpose and thus lack a real "living room" space.
Realizing this, I built him a 2-story home in an apartment that serves as his and Nananji's private residence.

It's cozy, warm, and full of books and other necessities.
