I know that Tony Gary's career in soaps was complicated and frustrating for him at times, but I do hope he realized what an icon he was. He created the anti-hero archetype on soaps that can never be duplicated. There will never be another moment like Luke and Laura in pop culture. Never.

The thing about Curtis is that he couldn’t pass for a bump on Shawn Butler’s ass. I know I’ve said this before, but it’s something I’ll be a broken record about. Shawn was multi-layered, had the look and strut of a serious man, was loyal, and more than just a sanctimonious ass. #GH

Also, I’m just going to say it - they could’ve put more effort into Monica’s farewell. More thought and time has gone into goodbyes and funerals for characters who did a handful of years or even less. Yes, wonderful performances from the actors but the entire thing gave low budget. Shameful.

I want to say one thing about Steve Burton. If his scenes this week reinforced anything, it’s how wasted his talents have been over the years. None of Jason’s “hangers-on,” people they’ve saddled him with, were at Monica’s funeral. It made a difference as to how he was able to express his grief. #GH
