On a special operation, undercover as enemy troops and behind enemy lines, Riou and Jowy fatefully encounter again the Princess Jillia, who, recognizing our boys from their previous meeting, offers them temporary shelter, and sympathy. When the special operation is uncovered and the party is attacked by border guards, new recruits Anita and Hanna form the front line. Righteous warrior women with bones to pick, they absolutely relish the opportunity to retire some hogs. Brave Jowy has been missing behind enemy lines, suspected captured, for nearly a full day. As the sun reluctantly sets, Riou, Nanami and young Pilika wait at the city gates, hoping to see his familiar silhouette appear on the horizon, but struggling to stay awake.

the device itself is blue and doesn't look all that different to the average cd/tape player of the time. it is sitting on a base. it has curved edges, a speaker on each curved side, sega branding, a handle to lift and comes with a blue 3 button mega drive controller. a black television unit sits behind with a sonic game on screen.

In the spirit of self improvement, on this #scanlinesunday I endeavored to finally start possibly maybe learning another 3rd Strike character.

Friendship ended with Chun-Li, now Makoto is my best friend.

On a humid mid-day in the farmer's market, intrepid karate woman Makoto delivers a low kick to The World's Strongest Woman, Chun-Li. Her honed foot, bare and muddy from travel, strikes meaty thigh, producing a clap not unlike two moistened heads of cabbage super-colliding. Squaring off against the titanic Hugo twice her size, Makoto locks in on his nards, aiming to pop them like overripe blueberries with a fierce blow from her concrete-demolishing fists of justice. In the demon forest, with wind and ghosts whipping her scarf, brave Makoto performs an exorcism on the villain Akuma, administered with her fists. Obnoxious American Ken Masters underestimates and disrespects our hero Makoto, taunting her in the middle of battle. Without hesitation she exploits his error in judgement and delivers a furious, decisive blow.
