I also used to think it was inferior than the first.
I had to learn to love it, from its level design and mechanics. When I did, it began to click with me more than the first. While the ways it experiments with level design aren't always gonna be perfect, the action feels punchier.

I beat Doom 2 (in co-op with @andyanajonseph.bsky.social and @missjennylizzie.bsky.social)!
The stages aren't as fun as Doom, but the game still has good action/music. The super shotgun is a large improvement over the original, both with its satisfying damage/sound.
GoldenEye is better. :P

I want a hard-biting satirical movie about GenAI and the GenAI material being used is actually drawn by real artists. A full-on mockery poking fun at the pro-GenAI people and those in power getting their life ruined from GenAI. Nobody spared, anyone that's pro-GenAI gets made fun off with no mercy.

So I decided to play Mr. Nutz via emulation, cause @russmangamer.bsky.social said it was mid. From what I've been playing, I think it's okay, but I'm kinda liking it tbh. I wouldn't go out of my way to get a copy, maybe sometime down the line idk. (I really like it's music though)
