Sadly, this story implicitly accepts the notion that a US Senator should place keeping his own job for another term over saving the lives of others.
Bill Cassidy is becoming a profile in cowardice.

You could say affordability feels like a scam, in that people feel they can't afford health coverage or care. But listening to some leaders just jawbone about it, and not finding a way to row together, makes people feel like they're being serenaded on the Titanic...

I guess manners, decorum, good taste, gratitude, generosity and other things I learned about as a child no longer are prerequisites for our leaders. They just need to blurt out whatever their base desires and emotions are at the moment. What has happened to this country?

By the way, the real drug traffickers aren’t on the boats. Those are just mules getting paid a few bucks. Trump doesn’t go after the real kingpins, he either leaves them alone or pardons them.

My take as a Californian is that we, the world’s fifth largest economy, should refuse to do any business with red states. They need our technology, agriculture, and ports more than we need anything from them. They vilify us, vote against our views, then take our money. To hell with them.

If Noem won’t define remigration, ask her if Any Lucia Lopez Belloza, a Babson College freshman deported by the administration was a criminal illegal alien. Is Belloza the worst of the worst criminals according to the administration?
