Spent years in the NBA aggregation trenches. When you're in it 24/7, stretches like these were so exciting.

Now that I'm more or less a hoops normie again, this level of disorientation just isn't fun. The NBA moves too quickly to get a real sense of each team's hand before deck gets shuffled.

Trae Young AND Anthony Davis on the Wizards?

Alright, I'm calling it right now: I guarantee Washington will win at least 20 games next season.

You can go ahead and screenshot this.

Once had two massive bowls of Raisin Bran for breakfast just to get out of gym class. Basically the same idea.
This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

Since starting the year 6-21, the Clippers have the NBA's 4th-best net rating (+7.7 from Dec. 20 on), with wins over the Pistons (x2), Lakers (x2), Rockets, Warriors, Raptors, and Suns.

Absolutely embarrassing for Harden to pull the plug after the last month and a half.

Playoff PED.
BREAKING: The NBA has suspended Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George for 25 games “for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program,” the league announced.

One thing that struck me while re-watching Home Alone over the holidays is that Catherine O'Hara is incredible in what has always been an overshadowed co-lead performance.

She brought so much realness emotion to what could've been played for straight laughs.

That reunion scene is a heart-melter.

Congratulations, GOP and LEAs; you’ve succeeded in giving an entire generation of Minnesotans a reason to distrust anyone who even sort of looks like a cop.
meanwhile, ICE is still out in force terrorizing the children of Minnesota - just got this from my kid's school

"It’s not like they’re the ones on the streets of Minneapolis. It’s not like the SS are coming (to the Olympics)."

In which Italy's foreign minister effectively likens the ICE agents in Minnesota to Nazi soldiers.

I'm sending Angelina Jolie deeply passionate letters, she's earnestly flattered, we're summering on Lake Como in 2030, 2031, and then splitting up amicably to focus on our respective careers.

And Canada and Mexico must explore whatever force majeure provision gets them out of co-hosting.
If you're living somewhere outside the USA, one thing you can do is pressure your leaders to boycott World Cup and Olympic events here.

It took Toronto’s new recycling contractor, Circular Materials, exactly two pick-up cycles to put a massive crack down the side of our bin. Looks like about 1-in-3 bins on my street are similarly battered with new cracks.

But hey, here’s a sticker.

Perhaps a show of unity, such as coordinated lapel pins or a flash mob, would show the GOP that the Dems are very serious.
Warner: "Nothing would lead to the absolute destruction of NATO more than US aggressive action against a longtime ally like Denmark"

Schumer: "I asked for assurances that they were not planning operations in other countries like Colombia and Cuba, and I was very very disappointed in their answer"
