I tried to tidy up the basket of cat toys, discard some old stuff, and of course Felix had to sit in the basket, and play with one of the toys I was going to throw away. That poor mouse, it has suffered enough.

I would be utterly screwed without the hard work they do. I wish I had money to give. I give my eternal gratitude but realize that is utterly useless to them.
Roma tomato harvesters at work. The bins are stacked 3 high to protect this delicate produce during transport. This means more climbing & risk for the worker. Romas are smaller & harder to pick so it takes more time to fill each bucket. They earn 89 cents per bucket. #WeFeedYou

I built this “insect hotel” in the middle of my small forest garden. I used all kinds of natural materials – from rotten wood, dry branches, bamboo, moss and bark – to build a tower of ecological layers. Each layer is an ideal shelter for beneficial insects such as wild bees, ladybugs, or ants.

Years ago, I remember Jodie Foster saying in an interview, the only thing she uses a computer for is making lists.
Feeling lack of desire to be online again. It cycles. I think: I'll try to figure out social media but I'm about as good at it as I was at double Dutch as a kid. Which was not at all.

But, I'd love to see a more recent list that has modern titles, diversity and some unexpected gems.
