My actual recommendation for how to fix Two Towers while staying true to the book is to add a real-time enactment of the entire Entmoot. That would definitely help the pacing.

Kemps is a good one. The brand they have at Costco this year is a little too thin and could’ve used a lighter hand on the spices, but it works.

Oh definitely. If they hadn’t invented a whole new plot for Two Towers they could’ve kept Cirith Ungol in that story and included more in RotK.
On the other hand, I’m not sure how well the scouring would actually translate to the screen.

Okay the only thing that could improve it is if they showed more of the Houses of Healing and gave us more Eowyn and Faramir. I do love the bit they added in the EE, but I want MORE.

Can you take the generic? If so, you could consider switching to that and paying out of pocket for it. It’s waaaaay cheaper.

We did the 10-hour hike through the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and honestly barely made it to the end. Mount Ngauruhoe served as a stand in for Mt. Doom and some of the Mordor scenes were filmed in this area.
