Damn. K&W Cafeteria closed all locations today after 88 years in business. I have fond memories of being a kid and feeling grown up as I got my tray and selected my food and carried it to our table. It was a short amount span of time, all told, but the memories endure. I hope the staff will be ok

A point I've been making for a while now. They want us all to spend money while charging us more money and refusing to increase our pay. If the prices go up and the income does not then we run out of money. Surely the oh so smart business people understand this concept?

If there's one food aversion of mine that I wish I could overcome, it's eggs. I really wish I could get into eating them. I've tried over the years to see if anything changes and I just can't do it. The closest I can get is the yolk for ramen or deviled eggs. Overall I'm just disgusted by the taste

As best I can tell it: there's a club that exists and I know it does because while I wasn't old enough to get in everyone around me was in it and they loved it and assured me that my time would come and I'd join and love it too except my time has come and they're all gone and I'm still waiting
