Amazon benefits from Trump’s tax cuts and attacks on labour; while the US government benefits from Amazon’s funding, political support, and provision of surveillance technologies.

Here we explain why our #BoycottAmazon campaign can go beyond disapproval of its UK tax avoidance:

Harrogate Town v Shrewsbury Town.
League Ground 117 for me.
90 out of current 92.

It looked bleak outside at 7am. The Shropshire hills were shrouded in mist. The rain was biblical; the winds strong but I had great fun.
I ended the run by jumping into the stream in Cardingmill Valley and wading about (whilst picking out litter)- so pleased was I to see water now restored to it.

All 21 Anglesey trigs completed over a long weekend.
This was a very windy Bwrrd Arthur and I was clinging on for dear life!

Six Anglesey trigs done today whilst Frank runs the Ring of fire.
This one was bonkers and involved rock climbing and then bashing through very dense and deep bracken.
Forever indebted to OS mapping!

Holyhead Mountain trig #4/21.
A lesson learned- if we've an hour for the car park it's best that estimating distance isn't up to me.
As we climbed, the heavens opened & the wind howled.
Trig gained, we'd 20 mins to make it back so a mad dash ensued - perhaps not the best prep for Frank's race!

Whilst Frank is running The Ring of Fire, (and in between crewing for him), I have a plan to visit all 21 Ynys Mon (Anglesey) Trig points.
Grabbed #1 on the way to our Holyhead base - very difficult to find as it was hidden in a hedge and all the more satisfying for it.

🔴 FIFA and UEFA need to get serious about heat dangers. It can't just be left to players 👇
🔴 Dangerous heat will impact the next two Men's World Cups in North America, Spain, Morocco 🌡️
🔴 Future proofing football means serious climate policy. Ending fossil fuel sponsorship is a common sense start 📣
FIFPRO, SJPF and Portuguese Football Federation conduct scientific study to better understand how extreme heat affects players - FIFPRO World Players' Union
The study, which was conducted on 12 out-of-contract footballers taking part in the union’s training camp in Odivelas, Portugal, analysed the effects intense heat has on the players’ core temperature ...

🤔 what names might you propose to the UK Met Office? 🤔
So the UK Met Office is inviting people to suggest up to 5 names for storms.

And apparently lots of people have been suggesting "Storm Bigoil", along with BP, Equinor, Exxon & Shell...

This is obviously appalling & definitely not to be emulated via this link: www.metoffice.gov.uk/forms/name-o...
