I got them from a podcast by Dr. Ranjan Chatterjee.
The same thing every day so no need for thought (except for the answers!).

All 21 Anglesey trigs completed over a long weekend.
This was a very windy Bwrrd Arthur and I was clinging on for dear life!

Six Anglesey trigs done today whilst Frank runs the Ring of fire.
This one was bonkers and involved rock climbing and then bashing through very dense and deep bracken.
Forever indebted to OS mapping!

Holyhead Mountain trig #4/21.
A lesson learned- if we've an hour for the car park it's best that estimating distance isn't up to me.
As we climbed, the heavens opened & the wind howled.
Trig gained, we'd 20 mins to make it back so a mad dash ensued - perhaps not the best prep for Frank's race!

Whilst Frank is running The Ring of Fire, (and in between crewing for him), I have a plan to visit all 21 Ynys Mon (Anglesey) Trig points.
Grabbed #1 on the way to our Holyhead base - very difficult to find as it was hidden in a hedge and all the more satisfying for it.

Here's one of mine. It's a bit faded but it's in a beautiful setting on top of the wonderfully named Wart Hill in South Shropshire.

On the way up to Kirk Yetholm to give a hand at the finish of the @spinerace.bsky.social , I wondered whether I might bag an easy trig (not having time to do The Cheviot ones!).
I found this one, just over the Scottish border - called Dolphinston Trig. (Scottishly surrounded by thistles).
Perfect!

A manic day in Bellingham today with a large number of Northern Challenger athletes as well as a handful of Full Spiners. Hard work but so rewarding to see these lovely people do awesome things.

@charliecoffee.bsky.social took the first photo 7 years ago when we joined him and @runnercalledwalker.bsky.social on a litter pick of the South West Coat path.
I took the second photo yesterday.
Same top - who needs new kit?

Idiot that I am I managed to delete the original post whilst trying to edit a response. I hope my support is better than my social secretary skills.
He completed one third at 4pm in Much Wenlock.
Here he is looking good and sporting the gold @thegreenrunners.bsky.social badge on his race pack.

Beginning today (Monday) 5am my Partner Frank will be attempting an FKT on the South section of the Shropshire Way. 122 miles 4000 metres elevation.
It will be supported - the support being ME!
Only one other person has done it (we think), his mate Grant in 46h 10m.

I'm astonished people buy McD's in Shrewsbury & drive 15 miles to the Long Mynd to discard it.
That's been my guess as it's nearest.
However this lot left receipts.
They got their food in Bristol Rd McD's Birmingham 20.44 last night before driving 60 miles to the Long Mynd & leaving it on the hill.

Setting up the course for the Shropshire Way 80k festival this weekend enabled me to revisit some of my favourite trigs from last year’s challenge ‘Ali visits all 93 Shropshire Trigs’. Wart Hill, Pole Bank, Stiperstones and Flounders Folly (Callow).

The latest from 'Ali visits all 135 Shropshire Castles'-
Stokesay - probably Shropshire's prettiest Castle.
Shrewsbury - the side where you can enter and touch (I have to touch each Castle) is not the most photogenic.

Ali visits Shropshire Castles 5/135

Acton Burnell Castle. Built 1283-86.

At last a Castle which looks, er, Castley.
I was at boarding next door when I was aged 10-12 and the senior girls used to meet boys here!
