A ceasefire should lead to "an enduring peace and remove the root causes of this crisis", Putin said.
"We need to negotiate with our American colleagues and partners," he said. "Maybe I'll have a call with Donald Trump."

Wtf—“our American colleagues and partners…?”

Any psychologist or psychiatrist (or former abused spouse) will tell you that President Zelensky gave a master class today on how to deal with a malignant narcissist.

He is an amazing man. We can all learn from him.

Chuck Schumer and the democratic leadership need to treat the administration as an enemy of the state and feel that down deep. Derail them at all costs. Pointing out high avocado prices for Super Bowl guacamole just ain’t the response to someone trying to destroy our government and way of life.

New from me in @newrepublic.com: “Primary Every Democrat.”

If the current crop cannot demonstrate they care more about democracy than enjoying three-day weekends, we should flood the zone and challenge them all.
Primary Every Democrat
It’s exhausting to watch poll-tested, donor-beholden congressional Democrats continue to be too old, too cloistered, and too bumbling to do anything as the government burns.

Trump’s unilateral decision to impose a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico is most likely illegal and most definitely harmful.

Economists estimate that these will increase costs for the average American family by as much as $1,200 a year.

We need to drive prices DOWN, not UP.
