Hello! It's lovely to see everyone here. For those who don't know me; I’m Katie Holten, an artist and dreamer. I like sharing the beauty I find in the world. I made a book called The Language of Trees. I'm learning to live with long COVID. I'm Irish, so I've a grá for blue skies. More trees please!

If you absolutely can’t stay home, wear a mask.

There are people who can’t afford to get sick. People without paid time off, people who are disabled or immune compromised, people who are caregivers.

GOOD NEWS! The German government has committed half a billion euros to research into long COVID and other post-infection syndromes. With 1 in 5 people affected by #LongCOVID, this is a no brainer! Hopefully good things will come from this. More research please!

#COVIDisNOTover #Dysautonomia #MECFS
The German government will invest €500 million over 10 years to study long COVID and post-infection diseases.

With at least 6% of COVID patients developing long COVID, researchers hope to uncover root causes and test targeted treatments.

The Archdiocese of Boston asked a Massachusetts parish to remove its nativity scene. The crèche featured the shepherds and the Wise Men, but no Holy Family — no Jesus, Mary, or Joseph. In their place is a sign that reads: “ICE WAS HERE.”
