Keep seeing a post reposted about an argument for AI being that "poor people deserve to be able to make art" and as a poor person who defied my family's wishes for me to be steadily employed and went $150,000 into debt studying art, you had better not even come near me with that bullshit.

God, I want to move back to NYC but if it’s hard to live in Philly on $62K a year, I imagine it’s not great living in NYC on $75k (the going rate for my pastry sous skill set there). Such a motherfucking expensive city!

Every Thanksgiving i think of the time my ex wife and I were invited to a lovely dinner at our friends' gorgeous UWS apartment, and presented with a beautiful turkey which she offered to carve and then simply ripped apart with her hands and placed on everyone's plate.
