Facts on facts. I had the same thought re: Slave Catchers.
But a lot of people won't make that connection certain people don't want to teach/learn about slavery and what really was going on in that time because they can't blame some other country.

Having a lifelong mental illness can be a lot to deal with. You shoulder this feeling of being broken, unfixable, undeserving of love. Finding meds that only reduce your bad symptoms but not all your emotions can take a while and be tough. And of course.. feeling like you won't die naturally.

Yes, ableist language undergirds eugenics. All slurs undergird system violence against the marginalized groups they refer to. Slurs for disabled people that come down from history dehumanize us so that atrocities can be done to us. Watch now as they rise while RFK implements eugenics.
