THIS. If it wasn't for the gun law legislation post Port Arthur (and credit where it's due) Howard would be one of the most reviled PMs of all. Weaponised racism for political gain instead of slapping it down and Australia has paid an enormous price for 30 years as a result.

Our ABC typing out a press release and calling it journalism again.

They run this idiotic, “tiny house solution to housing shortage” horse shit every month.

Trailer parks for the poors.

Before you say it, better than nothing isn’t the policy standard we should settle for.

Tiny-home community set to offer solution to affordable housing
A permanent community of tiny homes in WA's South West has been given planning approval. The proposal, pitched as a unique solution to the housing crisis, has drawn criticism from neighbours.

1. This short thread is about the issue that dominates almost every aspect of politics, and causes or exacerbates most of our problems: the extreme wealth of a small number of people. Here’s the amazing thing: almost the entire political class aligns with the ultra-rich against the rest. 🧵1/10

I’m all for booing the PM at sporting events, but booing the PM at a memorial for a mass shooting is just gross.

It’s remarkable how rapidly empathy and sympathy can be lost.

I am shocked by Premier Minns- trashing democratic freedoms in NSW to appease authoritarian extremists who characterise the March for Humanity as violent.
A violent lie to protect genocide.

Frydenberg exploiting a mass shooting to resuscitate his political career is a low act.

Sadly, I don’t expect any better of Frydenberg, a follower of the Howard method.

Don’t ever elect this prick again.

Rats in the ranks: Andrew Hastie, a military strategist, resigns from the federal Liberal front bench, unable to accept Cabinet solidarity in the Westminster tradition. So he’s obviously planning to displace Sussan Ley as leader but does not yet have the numbers. 👇
