My stoma is - at the moment at least - very different to my last one.

It’s recessed, looks messy, crappy, and doesn’t fit into bags very well… some of that will ease but not all as fixing a prolapse like mine requires more drastic stuff.

So it’s going to be a while to…

There needs to be a level of trust imo, especially for those of us with chronic conditions.

We know what meds we usually have and when we usually need them. Talk to us and trust us.

Especially in this case, ADHD med withdrawal wouldn’t have been good on top of all else.

With connective tissue disorder.

So they’re hoping I can have a couple of days of consistent nutrition and output now, then maybe home on Monday, but will have to wait and see.

I hate it and hate being here, but I guess it’s for the best for now.
