We are finally making a svelte skill for claude (and turning the repo into a claude marketplace so you can install the MCP and the skill with two commands).

Please check out this PR, there's a zip file with the skill that you can download..try the skill without the MCP and report if it works! 🧡
feat: claude skill + marketplace by paoloricciuti · Pull Request #110 · sveltejs/mcp
This adds a svelte 5 skill that you can download manually to put in Claude code OR Claude desktop/web, but also makes this repo a Claude marketplace/plugin. This will ease the experience of sharing...

Chap walked into the hotel I’ve been staying at this week, asking to check in for the day. It was about 06:30 when he arrived, and I was having breakfast at a table adjacent to the reception desk.

The parallax effect on multiple the scrolling signs in the Circle Line carriages is pretty cool.

I’ve only ever not finished a book I’m reading once before this week, but I’ve stopped two in as many days.

Finished reading Shroud by @aptshadow.bsky.social, and the ending was perfect. 👌

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a room with sharpies and post-it notes, but it feels good. If you know, you know.

Listening to my wife go through a home insurance policy almost line by line with a call centre agent before agreeing to the quote is bringing me more pleasure that it should.

So impressed with @valibot.dev - schemas have become the source of truth for my DTO types, both in and out. Validation in #JavaScript / #TypeScript has never been easier.

I remember when #JavaScript was released. I had a play and thought it was a toy language. Put it aside and didn’t think about it again.

Loving the experimental remote functions in #SvelteKit. I’m actually really impressed with the DX, although the docs need a little attention (but this is wip).

Woke up this morning with JavaScript Alonge on my mind. I haven’t read it in a couple of years, but it still has impact. Kudos to @raganwald.social.bau-ha.us.ap.brid.gy for helping me discover how I like my coffee.

Gently building a JSON:API conformant RESTful API with #SvelteKit and +server.ts endpoints only (with @valibot.dev and @mongodb.bsky.social). It had become a morning meditation, and I’m loving it.

I’ve never been a fan of 3rd-party validation libraries, but I’m loving @valibot.dev in SvelteKit’s +server.ts endpoints.

Opens dev.to article.
Reads, “In a world where…”.
Backs out.

Where can I find genuine tech discussion / articles that aren’t AI generated?

Scratching my head wondering what a blue check mark issued by a trusted verifier to an account on their domain adds!?

Any recommendations for a solid GNU/Linux desktop alternative to Ubuntu? I only want VSCode, a good terminal app, and a web browser (I’m 100% committed to devcontainers).

Can we please go back to new #novels being standalone #books rather than being book 1 of a planned 3-part #series

I wonder how different the world would be if the default setting was ‘show compassion’?
Regular sitting benches seem to have been replaced by “leaning benches” at the West 4th Street station - presumably to prevent homeless people from sleeping on them.
