I've only tried one variety of pu'erh, but the one I have smells and tastes so much like sun-warmed hay that every time I drink it I get launched back into being a 12 year old horse-nerd. It's a neat experience.

Reminder that this is a byproduct of imperialism. Most of these countries are so dependent on western aid because of actions and policies enacted by the west.
