It wouldn’t be to fix him, just to bring him back enough to reality so I could finish the interview. (I actually had this experience with a patient who initially claimed she was born on Venus — it went downhill from there. 2 weeks on Haldol and she was back on planet Earth.)

When I was a 4th year medical student my psych rotation was with a very experienced forensic psychiatrist. If I had to interview Trump he would have stopped me after about 10 minutes saying, “This guy is nuts.” We’ll stick him on Haldol [a major anti-psychotic] and try again 2 weeks.

She is not the first person to die as a result of Trump's showboating. My sympathies to her family, may she rest in peace. Wishing the other guardsman shot in this horrible incident a better outcome and a speedy recovery. Trump is not a leader, but a drunk driver heading full speed over a cliff.
