Jack Smith was still a prosecutor in The Hague at the time the FBI executed a search warrant on Mar-a-Lago.

He wasn't appointed special counsel on the DOJ's investigations into Trump’s crimes until November, 2022.

I'll add that the President's "Standing Authorities" as commander in chief do not in fact authorize the violation of federal criminal laws—including those on murder.

To the contrary, Article II of the Constitution imposes a duty upon POTUS to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."

Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking narcotics, was associated with illicit narcoterrorist networks, and was transiting along a known DTO route. The strike was conducted in International Waters, and six male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike. No U.S. Forces were harmed. Republicans hate their fellow Americans so much they sued up to the Supreme Court to stop Pres. Biden from forgiving $400 million in student loan debt, and they won. SCOTUS ruled it was unconstitutional for Biden to do that on his own.

That student debt was a *fraction* of what Trump's giving away.
