Yes. If you have been there, you understand. This is the stage of severe depression.

There are three stages: mild, moderate and severe.

Unfortunately there are many of us who get to the severe stage. That was me. It's not shame or blame, it's simply a heavy life that is ready to shutdown.💛🌷

When someone is struggling, the last thing they need is judgment.

It can be empathy in your personal lives from people in close proximity or as a whole. This can be read on Substack. Support small mental health pages like mine. It's far and between and without your support it is invisible.

People will not understand if you are depressed and may not care. If they dismiss you or if they are misinformed of the condition you can respond. Here are some ideas. #mentalhealth

You are bigger and better than your depression. It may try to control you and tell lies, but you will prevail. Don't give up.

When I was clinically depressed, I felt completely lost. I didn’t know what help looked like or where to turn. Without a strong support system, the weight of it all was overwhelming.

No one will prioritize your mental health more than you. It’s not fair, but it’s reality. Take the steps, no matter how small, to care for yourself, because you deserve it.💛

I understand sometimes this may be hard to see in your struggle. You feel defeated and exhausted, but hopefully can one day get to this state. It doesn't have to be huge, but it can be in bits, one day at a time. #mentalhealth
