Been saying we need a government run payments processor since it would be bound by code and constitutional restraints. Which payment processors aren't. They couldn't necessarily stop payments at will based on "corporate values" and even if they did, there would be redress through the courts.

There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Anecdotally on twitter seeing a big shift the last few days from every AI slop account saying every other creative field is “over” and they’re in control now to now posting about how nobody likes them and it’s not fair and they’ll persevere and real artists respect and uplift eachother

Remember, the big argument for AI in the arts is that these “artists” have ideas, hundreds of ideas, thousands, all that was stopping them was the hoards of gatekeeping musicians, writers, illustrators… and not that they were lazy and didn’t want to put in the work.

I believe deep within my blood that the only way Amazon understands how much people hate this AI shit is to unsubscribe entirely from Prime.
I know not everyone actually will but it means something if a sizeable number of people actually do. They need to see a visible impact to their bottom line.

my “AI is over” anecdote is that my wife was hired over the summer to write scripts for a big tech company explaining how to use their AI tools and after many rounds of revisions, the latest notes said “we’re finding a lot of AI fatigue among our users” and to remove all references to AI
